Intex Has Launched Yet Another Budget Smartphone, Intex Uday With 5.2-Inch Display

Domestic handset maker Intex has launched yet another budget smartphone, called the Intex Uday in collaboration with retail chains of Pune – Kensha Mobiles, Mehta Telecom, Manik Mobile Shopee & The Corner Mobile.

Talking about the spec sheet, the Intex Uday comes with a 5.2-inch HD IPS display and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The smartphone comes equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a memory card.

In terms of the optics, the smartphone houses a 13-megapixel rear snapper with autofocus and LED flash, while the front-facing shooter stands at 5-megapixel, also with LED flash.

The 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphone is backed by a 2,800mAh battery which is expected to last up to seven hours of talk time and up to eight of standby time, and runs Android 7.0 Nougat.

The Intex Uday comes with several Value-Added Services such as SwiftKey, MiFon Security, Prime Videos and DataBack, and is accompanied by a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Intex Uday comes in Black, Champagne and Blue colour variants. It is priced at Rs 7,999 and is compatible with the Reliance Jio offer for a cashback of Rs 2,200.
