Soon after launching the Camon I, Transsion Holdingsowned Tecno Mobile has introduced a new budget smartphone, dubbed the Camon I Air in India, if a tweet by famous Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom is to be believed. However, the said smartphone is still not listed on the company’s website.
Talking about the hardware specifications, the Techno Camon I Air comes with a 5.65-inch HD+ FullView display with a screen resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio rated at 18:9. The smartphone is powered by a quadcore MediaTek MTK6737H processor clocked at 1.3GHz, along with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone comes equipped with 16GB of RAM which comes with the option to expand up to 128GB via a memory card.
In the camera department, the Camon I Air houses a 13-megapixel featuring Quad LED flash while the frontfacing snapper is rated at 8-megapixel, with Video Chat flash.
The device gets its power from a 3,050mAh battery and runs the company’s HiOS operating system based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphone is topped with
connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and micro-USB port.
Moreover, the Camon I Air features a fingerprint scanner at the back, and comes in Champagne Gold and Midnight Black colour variants.The Tecno Camon I Air comes with a price of Rs 7,999 and will be available via offline stores.
