LG Q6 Beautiful, but not expensive


South Korean technology major LG has launched its first Q series smartphone, dubbed Q6 in India. The smartphone was launched in South Korea in July this year and offers features like 18:9 wide screen, facial recognition and military grade durability.

The LG Q6 comes with the company’s flagship extended ‘FullVision’ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It features a 5.5-inch ‘FullVision’ display with full HD+ (2160x1080 pixels) resolution and pixel density of 442ppi. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, it runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box along with the LG UX 6.0 skin on top.

The smartphone comes with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera with wide-angle sensor. It offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery and offer 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b, g, n, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, FM Radio and a USB Type-B 2.0 port as connectivity options. Measuring 142.5x69.3x8.1mm, the smartphone weighs 149 grams.

In terms of optics, the LG Q6 sports a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter with 10-degree wide angle. Users can take selfies to instantly share them on social media as well as friends.

The device comes with a price tag of Rs 14,990 and is available in Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White and Terra Gold colour options. The smartphone will be exclusively available on Amazon India.
